These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Vire virtual photo booth platform, including the website at vire.my and any custom photo booth experiences deployed by Vire for clients ("the Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Vire provides a browser-based virtual photo booth experience. Through the Service, users can:
Vire reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice to clients where possible.
The photo booth requires camera access to function. Your camera feed is processed entirely within your own browser — Vire does not transmit, store, or have access to your camera feed or the photos you take.
Photos are captured and stored locally on your device. When you use the share or save function, files are handled by your device's operating system and browser, not by Vire's servers.
Vire does not use cookies or tracking technologies to monitor photo booth usage. For enquiries submitted via the contact form, please see our Privacy Policy.
When using the Service you agree not to:
Businesses and event organisers who engage Vire for a custom photo booth deployment ("Clients") do so under a separate service agreement. The specific scope of work, deliverables, timelines, and payment terms are set out in that agreement.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that end-users at their event or venue are informed that a photo booth is in use and that photos may be taken. Vire is not responsible for obtaining consent from individual end-users on behalf of Clients.
All intellectual property in the Vire platform, including the codebase, design, branding, and content, belongs to Vire. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use Vire's intellectual property other than as strictly necessary to use the Service.
Overlay images and brand assets uploaded by Clients remain the property of the respective Client. By uploading assets to the Service, Clients grant Vire a limited licence to reproduce those assets solely for the purpose of rendering the photo booth experience.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Vire does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all devices and browsers.
Camera functionality depends on the user's device, browser, and network conditions. Vire is not responsible for technical limitations arising from these factors.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Vire's total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by a Client to Vire in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
Vire may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
For material changes that affect Client agreements, Vire will provide notice via email where a contact address has been provided.
